Yesterday I did a photoshoot of meat! This was for Sheepdrove Organic Farm, to provide promotional images for their new-look packaging and labels. The labels are brilliant, and feature some of the farm’s flora – cowslips, cocksfoot, and chicory.
A meat photoshoot – not what you’d expect a vegetarian to do! But actually I’ve taken thousands of photos of the meat produced by the farm. And I buy it too. I get meatboxes for friends and family. As I live and work at Sheepdrove Organic Farm, I know that the farming staff do their best for the animals. So I’m happy to buy their meat, even as a vegetarian.
Look out for my work in foody, ethical and organic magazines as The Spring Consultancy use these images to launch the refreshed product range. The Spring Consultancy also commissioned me to design a postcard for the farm. IN FACT we used my photo of a piglet. This little piggy was put onto a postcard and sent out with hundreds of bacon sandwiches to help the media learn about organic pigs! My picture is entitled An Organic Piglet on the Berkshire Downs and it’s on my website.
